                          Acupuncture

Initial Consultation £65

Before you commence the first treatment, I will undertake a comprehensive diagnostic consultation. This is a 90-minute face-to-face appointment and includes the first treatment.

At the session, I will gather in-depth information about the symptoms you are experiencing.  I will also collect information regarding other seemingly unrelated symptoms you have, your past medical history, and details of any medication you are taking.  At the end of your appointment, I will give you an idea of the likely treatment duration and frequency for your particular case. The consultation and first treatment are often followed by an email with recommendations and personalised lifestyle advice.

Follow-up treatment  £50

Follow-up treatment lasts 45-60 minutes. Additional modalities such as bodywork, auriculotherapy, moxibustion, cupping, or Gua sha are included in the price.

How Long will treatment take?

I will give you an idea of the length of treatment at the initial consultation. As a general rule, I like to see a change after every acupuncture session, and if this is the case, patients are often not too concerned about the length of treatment as long as they see a change after each treatment.

With long-standing, complicated, chronic conditions, it may require a number of sessions before some benefit is seen. Acupuncture is a powerful and subtle medicine, and we often try to treat imbalances that have been going on for a long time.

Treatments are normally given at weekly intervals, although some problems need more frequent visits.

Seasonal illnesses such as hay fever will benefit from treatment four to six weeks before the hay fever season to prevent symptoms from developing. It is also treated during the hay fever season, and generally, acupuncture is very effective.

            Chinese Medicinal Nutrition

Initial Consultation – £125

Your first appointment includes a full Traditional Chinese Medicine consultation and diagnosis. This 90-minute session explores your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, emotional wellbeing, current eating habits, and personal health goals. Based on your unique constitution and needs, you’ll receive a clear, practical food therapy plan, which may include guidance on:

  • What to eat and what to reduce or avoid
  • Cooking methods to support digestion and energy
  • Ideal portion sizes and meal timing
  • Seasonal and symptom-based food adjustments
  • Suggestions for when, how, and how much to eat — based on what suits your body and fits into your everyday life

This is not a generic meal plan — it’s a therapeutic, personalised nutrition strategy designed to bring your body back into balance and help you feel more energised, resilient, and well.

Follow-Up Consultations – £75 (60 minutes)

Follow-ups are usually spaced about three weeks apart. These 60-minute sessions include a review of your progress, adaptations to your food plan, and support around your goals, mindset, and daily habits. Follow-ups allow space to build on what’s working and refine what’s not — all at a pace that feels sustainable.

How Long Will Nutrition Therapy Take?

Chinese Medicinal Nutrition is not a one-off appointment, but it’s also not a lifelong commitment. How long we work together depends entirely on your health goals, the nature of your symptoms, your constitution, and how quickly changes can realistically be implemented into your life.

Some people come with one clear issue and feel much better after just a few focused sessions. Others may need longer support — especially if their symptoms are long-standing, multi-layered, or deeply rooted in lifestyle patterns that take time to shift. There’s no fixed formula, and that’s the strength of this approach.

Because the advice is practical and tailored, many people begin to notice improvements after just a few small adjustments. That might be better digestion, more stable energy, or feeling more in tune with their body. For some, that happens quickly. For others, it’s a gradual unfolding — and that’s perfectly okay.

Appointments are offered on a pay-as-you-go basis, and follow-ups are usually spaced about three weeks apart. This gives you time to try things out, notice changes, and return with new insights. The process is collaborative, flexible, and designed to move at a pace that suits you — without pressure, overwhelm, or unrealistic expectations.

If you're unsure whether this therapy is right for you or how it might fit into your life, you're always welcome to get in touch for a no-pressure conversation.
